Tignes is a top-tier resort with 300km of piste across the Tignes-Val d’Isère area (formerly called the Espace Killy). It’s got skiing way up to 3,456m on the Grande Motte glacier, and excellent slopes to suit every kind of snow-lover. We're talking tree-lined runs, long descents from the glacier, and tougher-than-average blues and reds to test your technique. There are even nine free lifts dotted throughout the nursery areas to get first-timers started without having to buy a lift pass

The resort’s made up of several villages at different altitudes, each with its own atmosphere. In Val Claret and Le Lac, you’ll be in the heart of the action — Val Claret’s got the best access to the glacier, but both have plenty of ski-in, ski-out places to stay, and you can spend your evenings hopping between the local bars.

• Après 'til late in the Irish pub, or relax in the sauna and steam room.
• Enjoy mountain views with your meals in the dining room.
• All rooms have hairdryer, cable TV and safe, and some have balconies.
• Bar (open between 17.00 - 22.00).
• Spa with sauna, steam room and fitness room (over 15s only).

Meals: Buffet breakfast, 3-course evening meal with starter and dessert buffets and a choice of main courses, with red or white wine included. Weekly fondue evening.

Flights (provisional): TUI Airways. TOM2634 depart Manchester T2 06:50, arrive Geneva 09:55. TOM2635 depart Geneva 11:20, arrive Manchester T2 12:20. Transfer time around 4 hours. Standard hold baggage allowance is 20kg.

Cost: £970 per person sharing a twin room. Ski Carriage is free (one ski/board bag up to 15kg).

Lift passes: Lift passes are not included but full area lift passes can be pre-booked. We will endeavour to get the best prices for passes nearer the time of the holiday. As a guide Crystal are quoting an adult cost of £385.

The price includes airport taxes and Manchester flight supplement but not insurance.

Insurance: You must arrange your own insurance and the name of the insurer is required when booking.

Application forms are in the "members only" section of the website which requires a username and password (published in the Newsletter and on digital membership cards) for access.

Provided the deposit has been paid applications are processed in the order they are submitted.
