Christmas Dinner at Giorgio

Travelling by tram I actually arrived early! Manchester was cold, wet and heaving with folk, so I popped into the Paramount pub across the road from Giorgio’s. The pub has a HUGE (and noisy bar area). I was the first to arrive, but I soon popped out again.

Denise messaged me and we met up near Giorgio. As it was cold and wet, the lovely manager ushered us to a staff table by the bar, where we enjoyed and a glass of wine and ‘natter’. As folk arrived we were taken to our reserved tables in a pleasant room at the rear the restaurant. The staff were absolutely great, and the meal was excellent as usual.

21 attended, including new member Yvonne. Some members residing far afield were put off by the city centre location. However, it was a very enjoyable evening, worth the effort and it was great to meet up again.
