Ski Club of Manchester Holiday to Belle Plagne, March 2024

What a wonderful week! Even Tui managed to get it right with on time flights both ways and a super hotel.

Two full days of sunshine on good snow with a further three mornings skiing in the sun.

It was a shame that the weather closed in on Friday afternoon meaning a three-o-clock finish for all but the hardy.

Myself and John Hodgkinson met up with two new members, Malcolm Rusby and John Tregoning, at breakfast on the first day who were well up to par on the slopes.

We made real friends with them along with John’s future Father in Law Paul Allen who spent the week in another group really enjoying his holiday.

The usual crowd were in the bar at night playing pool and cards with Derek Kennedy determined to win.

New members John and Paul are going to La Tania next year but John and I can’t make it.

I am sure that you will all look after them so that they become long term members of our club.

Roll on Les Arcs where I am sure we will have another great holiday.
