Val d'Isère At Christmas?

For the 2nd year running, the Christmas holiday will be in Val d'Isère.

This resort has one of the best snow records in Europe, especially around Christmas. In past years the Club has tried various resorts which have sadly lacked snow over Christmas, so Val d'Isère's good snow record makes it a popular choice again for this year.

The venue is again the Chalet Marsala, sited well away from the main road but within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants in the town centre. The main Solaise lits are also within easy walking, as is the bus stop to other areas. First Choice have now introduced an upmarket food and wine menu called "Fine Dining" , which last year everyone agreed was first class. The chalet staff were also A1.

The chalet has reasonably spacious bedrooms, all of which are en suite, and the lounge area in the basement is so large that it allows everyone in the chalet to socialise comfortably. There is a larger chalet hotel with a bar some 50 metres away, also run by First Choice, so is close enough to allow quick access from the Chalet Marsala and back for dinner! The Chalet Marsala is also very suitable for families.
