Walk 2, Tuesday 8th September.

The walk will be in the area to the north of Hurst Green, Lancashire. The route is a moderate walk of about 13 Km (8 miles) with around 300m (1000ft) of climbing and should take around 5 or 6 hours depending how long we spend sight seeing, eating, and of course walking. The walk will start at the Shireburn Arms car park in Hurst Green.
Meeting time is 10:00 to start walking at 10:15.
The circular walk is from Hurst Green up onto Longridge Fell and will take in farmland paths, bridleways and and quiet lanes. Some paths could be soggy following wet weather so stout walking shoes or boots are advised.
This will be a full day walk with no facilities en route so please bring whatever food and drink you require.
