Ski Club of Manchester Quiz Night, 30th December 2021

26 members took part in the SCoM Virtual Christmas Quiz.

The rounds were obviously Christmas related and suitable for children of all ages Including SCoM members!

As usual, bonus points awarded for wearing ski gear, some members added Alpine backgrounds.

Dave & Vanessa deserved extra points for bouncing around in a gondola and they kept it going for some time! Constant heckling from rowdy SCoM members all added to the fun!

Topics were, Name the Elf — Xmas Films — Xmas Songs — Guess the Festive Object, and a Drunken Santa Karaoke round, starring Tony Shaw (alias Tenacious -T).

Thankfully Santa’s vocals improved gradually, more practice needed or maybe another sherry!

THE RESULTS… (IT WAS A CLOSE CALL)

• 1st Place — Phil & Sarah (50 points)
• 2nd Place — Ellie Shaw (48 points)
• 3rd Place — Allen (47 points)

If Val had managed to ZOOM in earlier and if a few members had muted, the results could have changed significantly. Still, all’s fair in a SCoM Quiz…
