Club Holidays

These holidays are proving popular as there’s only a handful of places left for Tignes, with Val d’Isere and Cervinia fully booked.The question arose as to the possible Covid requirements such as vaccinations and testing but nothing was known about what the situation would look like at the end of the year and it was too soon to consider what may happen and how it may affect the holidays and that we would review the situation at the August meeting.

It was agreed that if anyone wished to travel by rail they would need to organise travel for themselves.

Chill Factore

Notwithstanding the imminent relaxation of Covid rules, we are still in a period of uncertainty and can’t do much planning.

We have contacted the Chill Factor^e about tuition arrangements for the next season. We’ll keep you posted.

Club Survey

Volunteer support was discussed.

Currently Committee is grateful for offers of support. At the moment we don’t need any specific support but we will bear in mind any offers where future needs arise.

Programme Update

We still cannot make plans for the Christmas meal. But are making enquiries and will keep you posted. If we go ahead, we agreed that the best date would be Friday 26th November.

As with last year the AGM on 8th October will be on-line.

We’re still looking for a speaker so if anybody knows anyone who would be willing to do a talk, on any subject vaguely related to club activities, please let us know.
