Ski Club Christmas Meal at The Boathouse Restaurant November 25th 2016

The Christmas meal this year was a resounding success with 42 members, (must be a record)! meeting up our annual event. It was especially good to see new faces too.

Full marks to The Boathouse Restaurant on the excellent menu and service! The portions were more than ample, well presented, and the staff very helpful. Despite our chatter, we could still converse easily, It was a perfect venue for our large group.

The restaurant, (formerly Deckers), has recently undergone a makeover, and it was good to return there after the Club’s absence of several years! I for one, look forwards to our next visit! I might well go during the daytime, and enjoy the views over the Water park, (and I’ll try not to get lost in the woods again)!

Many thanks to Alan and Caroline for organising the event, and also to our coordinator Vanessa Miller who did an excellent job, which included personal menu cards, (especially useful for the forgetful members amongst us)!
