26 members descended on Alan and Caroline’s residence in Tytherington, to sample the famous ‘Brown Sausages’. We were treated to a selection of delicious food, which member’s contributed to. The Salad arrived a little late though, oops my fault... (must read the Newsletter) and all the puddings were gobbled up quickly. Fortunately Caroline organised had a stash of strawberries and cream in the fridge for late comers!
It was a perfect sunny afternoon, pleasantly warm with shady corners to relax in to dodge the sun if needed. We had loads of news to catch up on, and the afternoon sped by so quickly. The last stragglers (including me) were given a personal guided tour of the lovely garden. They’ve been busy in the garden, since our last visit and a lot of work has been done including a raised vegetable bed and a shrubbery. Looking forwards to seeing the garden’s development in the near future!
A very big THANKYOU to Alan and Caroline for opening up your garden to us, we all enjoyed the perfect afternoon.
