Ski Tuning

Having purchased my own skis I fancied having a go at doing a bit of self tuning, so after doing some research on the old internet I found someone who does some tuning tuition in Nottingham. It's a bit of a treck but he only charges £25 for about 3 hrs training. There's usually two in a class but seeing as it was Sunday morning at 9.30 I was on my own; all the better for me to pick his brains. His name is Jon and he's really good and enthusiastic, he covers base angles side angles side wall stripping ptex base repairs waxing scraping and brushing, basically anything you want to know about skis or boards he's got the answer.

You can take your own skis and work on them or work on a pair of his, he will show you on one ski and you do the other ski, all the time you can have a good chat about your ski trips. He also sells the tools if you want any, cheaper than the main shops. I couldn't wait to get home and have a go on my own. I found it so easy to do having been shown the right way to do them.
