SCoM Christmas Dinner - Friday 7th December At Chill Factore

The Eiger - a very atmospheric restaurant at Chill Factore - proved to be a successful new venue for SCoM. The complex itself is impressive with shops and cafes etc., but of course the real snow slope is the star. Around the slope along the "walls" is a photographic snowy mountain panorama which, from the windows of the restaurant, looks amazingly realistic. This certainly set the scene for our club Christmas meal and maybe created a frisson of excitement for the coming holidays?
The meal itself was well presented, quickly and efficiently served, tasty and hot. When SCoM members get together there is always plenty to talk about and catching up to do - we're such a friendly bunch!
37 people attended, which is an excellent turn-out, and hopefully this will set the scene for future years. Many thanks to Ian for the arrangements and a big thank you to committee members, particularly John with his booking hassles, for spending such a lot of time and energy to-ing and fro-ing at Chill Factore this past year on our behalf.
