Ski Club Holiday to Belle Plagne, France

Saturday 9th March 2024 for 7 nights

Tour Operator: Crystal

Resort report: It's over 20 years since the Club had a holiday based in La Plagne but we visited Arc 1800 in the Paradiski Area in 2015. You can read a report by Paul Speed & Marie Stanley here.

Resort information from the Crystal web site:

La Plagne is a playground for families or anyone else looking to build confidence. The 425km Paradiski area is known for having a huge variety of terrain, from tree-lined runs to open bowls. Once you’ve got the basics down, head up to Grande Rochette to ski linked blues back to Plagne Centre. Then when you’re ready, move onto the longer reds towards Champagny-en-Vanoise. If you really want to stretch your legs, get an area pass and take the double-decker cable car over to explore Les Arcs too.

The resort’s made up of several small villages. Plagne Centre was the first to open in 1961, while Plagne Soleil is the newest of the bunch. Belle Plagne and Plagne 1800 are the prettiest picks, or choose Plagne Villages to be smack-bang in the centre of the slopes. Families will love Plagne Aime 2000, which is where our Crystal Childcare is based. Wherever you end up though, they’ve all got a mix of accommodation, bars and restaurants, and easy-peasy access to the piste.
